  • Orange Sugar-Free Jello

  • plain Greek yogurt

🌈 Other Sugar-Free Jello Flavors

You can use any flavor of Jello that you like in these Keto Jello Whips. The four brands that make sugar-free Jello are Jello-O, Royal, GramZero, and (somewhat surprisingly) Starburst.Usually, the only brands that you can buy in the supermarket are Jell-O and Royal, but you can find the other two on Amazon.

🍚 Naturally sweetened Jello

I often hear from people who are concerned about the artificial sweeteners used in Jello. Well, I am happy to report that I've found a brand of gelatin that is naturally sweetened. It's the GramZero Jello that I mentioned. It is sweetened with Stevia, so it's a healthier way to go if you are worried about artificial ingredients.

I make everything I can find in jello recipes and convert higher carb. ingredients to other items. Just another tip/idea. We (husband and I) eat this mostly ourselves, so when I make it, no fancy glass containers. I am now confined to a wheelchair but this does not stop me from cooking dinner every night, as well as desserts, cookies, quick breads, fancy salads, multiple course meals and Jello everything. I have been a Type 1 insulin dependent diabetic for 62 years now (I am now 69) and know how to cook or convert old family recipes to low carb or just diabetic friendly. Anyway, due to my physical limitations, I have found a lot of shortcuts for everything. As this is not a dessert , we eat all the time and not used solely for company, just husband and I, I never use fancy or glass dishes. I have been buying and using compost ability disposable paper cups. Works great, no fighting to get last bits out, no dish washing and environmentally friendly and easy to tuck anywhere in my full refrigerator. I love jello (and Greek yogurt).

This is great. Brings back old time memories. One thing I do different, instead of cold water, I use zero sugar, orange flavored water from wal mart. It comes out soon good.
    Thanks for the delightful recipe.

I made this yesterday using dairy free unsweetened vanilla yogurt and it was delicious and very refreshing for a hot day. I’m lactose intolerant so I thought I’d try it that way and it worked great. What a nice, easy and tasty dessert.

Please help! It seems like this has to be a user error...I made these four hours ago. I used whole fat plain yogurt and Simply Delish jello since I'm on keto, and I'm not sure if the ingredients being different could cause my issue or if it's something else entirely. I put them in 1/2 pint mason jars and there is about a 1 inch, clear liquid layer on the bottom of the jar under the orange whip. What would cause this separation??

Your problem was using Simply Delish. It has a totally different jelling method than gelatin does. But you are in luck, because I've been working on a Simply Delish version of this recipe.

      Ingredients:

1 package Simply Delish Jel Dessert
      1/3 cup cold water
      1 cup boiling water
      1 cup plain yogurt
      2 tablespoons Confectioner's Swerve (optional)

      Instructions:

      1. Dissolve Simply Delish powder in 1/3 cup cold water.
      2. Mix in 1 cup boiling water.
      3. Let it sit on the counter for 20 minutes.
      4. Add the Simply Delish mixture, yogurt and Swerve to a blender and blend until smooth.
      5. Pour into custard cups and refrigerate for 60 minutes until set.
